An affiliate website is a website that is set up by a representative (that is to say, an "affiliate") of a company, in order to sell its products. For example, Amway or Avon or Mary Kay or Cutco Knife representatives can set up their own websites and use information provided by their sponsor companies to create web pages about those products. It's the same information provided by the main company and would show up in all the affiliate websites. An affiliate website like that is only useful in local searches for a "Cutco knife salesman near me" kind of search.
